Cu ocazia Centenarului Marii Uniri, Majestatea Sa Margareta, Custodele Coroanei române și Alteța Sa Regală Principele Radu vor călători la Alba Iulia cu Trenul Regal. Alături de Majestatea Sa se vor afla și ASR Principesa Elena și soțul ei, ES dl Alexander Nixon, ASR Principesa Sofia și ASR Principesa Maria, transmite secretariatul Casei Majestății Sale Custodelui Coroanei.Călătoria Familiei Regale cu Trenul Regal va onora memoria celor care au realizat Marea Unire, la 100 de ani de la înfăptuirea marelui ideal național.Familia Regală va ajunge în gara Alba Iulia la 1 Decembrie 2018, la ora 9.30. Trenul Regal va fi remorcat de locomotiva cu abur Pacific 231.065, construită în anul 1922.Familia Regală va fi întâmpinată la Gara Alba Iulia de autoritățile locale și de locuitori ai municipiului Marii Uniri.
Majestatea Sa Margareta și Principele Radu, alături de ceilalți membri ai Familiei Regale, vor participa, la ora 10.00, la un Te Deum oficiat la Catedrala Încoronării, iar la ora 15.30, la ceremonia militară din Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918.
